Are you a results-driven digital advertising professional passionate about market expansion and client growth? We're seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our commercial efforts in Croatia and Slovenia. If you thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and enjoy building strong relationships, this role could be your next big move. In this role, you will be based in Slovenia or Croatia and report directly to the Commercial Director for the International Market. You'll be instrumental in driving revenue by building demand through Holcos, indie agencies, and direct clients, leveraging our robust PMP network.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market expansion across Croatia and Slovenia, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Travel frequently within the Adriatic region (primarily Croatia and Slovenia) to meet clients, attend industry events, and strengthen OCM’s local presence.
  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with advertising agencies, media shops, and direct clients.
  • Actively participate in expanding OCM’s business network within the Adriatic region, focusing on creating demand for our publisher PMP network.
  • Identify, evaluate, and penetrate new sales opportunities, focusing on digital media and ad tech solutions.
  • Deliver compelling and customised sales presentations and proposals, showcasing OCM's unique value proposition, including our proprietary formats and partnerships.
  • Prepare financial and technical proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Educate stakeholders on OCM’s formats, services, and unique value propositions through workshops and training.
  • Manage sales pipeline and forecast revenue potential effectively, leveraging reporting tools to deliver performance summaries and insights.
  • Utilize platforms for lead qualification and marketing automation (e.g., ActiveCampaign, Act-On) for mass outreach.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in Ad Tech and digital media to position OCM as a thought leader.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, operations) to tailor offerings to local market needs.


Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven professional experience in sales or Business Development within the Media, Digital Advertising, Ad Tech, or SaaS ecosystem.
  • A strong network of contacts across agencies, media buyers, and key clients in Slovenia and Croatia, will be appreciated.
  • Deep understanding of the digital media landscape and ad tech solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English and local languages (Slovenian and/or Croatian).
  • A self-driven, team-oriented mindset with a passion for building and maintaining strong client relationships.
